Special Interest Groups

Besides attending monthly meetings, CPCUG members can also attend as many of the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as they want to.  The SIGs are smaller groups of members who gather monthly to pursue their own special interests related to PCs.

Some of the currently operating SIGs are:

  • Computers Assisting People (CAP): Placement arm of the Hardware SIG for donated PCs.

  • Digital Imaging SIG: How to work with digital images.

  • Hardware SIG:  Learn to trouble shoot and replace your PC's hardware.  Gain hands on experience! (pictures!)

  • Internet: All kinds of internet related technology. (picture)

  • Geneaology: Researching your family tree.

  • Linux: Learn about this open source operating system!

  • New Member: New members get to know the CPCUG and what it has to offer.

  • Windows:  Great for the beginner or intermediate Windows user.

  • Delphi/Paradox: Powerful tools for Windows and .NET application development. (Click here for more information.)
