Mr. Bob Huber, Regional Marketing Manager
from Sprint PCS will be demonstrate the latest developments in the wireless
world at the October 14 General Meeting. Some of the products that he will
demonstrate include the Handspring Treo PDA phone and the Toshiba 2032
Pocket PC, as well as a couple of AirCard products from Sierra and Novatel
that add enhanced G3 wireless connectivity to current laptops and PDA's.
In addition to Bob Huber, another Sprint PCS technical expert will also be
on hand to answer all of your questions in this fast changing field.
New features that have been added to the Sprint PCS Vision phones
include:
Take Pictures - Take Digital
Pictures with a PCS Vision Camera and sent them to a computer or other
phone.
Upload Images - Upload images from PC to phone

View Pictures - View, access and
share photos on display screen
Email Pictures - Email pictures
thru the phone to PC's, laptops or other phones
Save Images - Use the Pictures Web
to store & organize photos
The products to be demonstrated include:

Treo 300 by Handspring PCS Phone
This unit combines the power of a full features wireless phone, a Palm OS
handheld with a full color display, and Internet connectivity. The Treo
uses the Palm Operating System with both a touch screen and a QWERTY
keyboard. The service includes Speakerphone, Messaging, Web connectivity
and Voice Command features
Toshiba 2032 Pocket PC
This robust device boasts a large 65,536 color display for bright, sharp
pictures, icons, and text. Use the integrated phone to make calls, or
conduct data sessions browsing the web and retrieving email using Internet
Explorer in full color.
The Sierra Wireless AirCard 510 for Notebooks
This is the world's first true CDMA Type II PC Card modem that offers
simplicity and freedom to be mobile. It is a wide-area network interface
card (NIC) that connects a user's laptop directly to the Internet, Intranet,
corporate e-mail or a host of other corporate applications - without the
need for a wireless phone or landline connection.
Novatel Wireless Merlin G100
The G100 is a PC Card that installs in the laptop's PC Card and supports
GPRS (up to 56 Kbps) with an automatic fallback to GSM (which runs at just
14.4 Kbps),
