Steve Upton, Regional Representative for

Solutions . Tim has been involved with the computer industry since 1978
when his father, Jay Rettig, founded Software Solutions in Lebanon, OH. Tim
grew up working on mainframes from Cincinnati Milacron, Texas Instruments,
and Sperry. In
the 1980s he was involved with many XENIX and Unix installations for cities
throughout Ohio. In the early 1990's Tim's focus moved from serial
communications toward Arcnet and Ethernet with Lantastic and Novell. In
1992 he started LAN Solutions as a networking services company to compliment
his father's software development company. The firm was involved with many
challenging projects throughout the 1990's, including Project Infoshare for
the United States Department of Agriculture. In addition to network
implementations, Tim partnered LAN Solutions with Houston based Centurion
Data Services, to open one of the first Internet Service Providers in
Cincinnati. In recent years, LAN Solutions completed a project to implement
Citrix MetaFrame into the 5,500 user network of Louisville Gas & Electric.
LAN Solutions has assisted countless companies in attaining secure
high-speed communications to the Internet. Over 100 organizations depend on
