The first presentation will be by Detective Dave Ausdenmoore of the Regional Electronics and Computer Investigations Task Force of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. His presentation will include his work involving electronic or computer technology, including hacking, telecommunications fraud, software piracy, child pornography, forgery, counterfeiting, and cellular cloning.

Mr. Ausdenmoore will also talk about the department’s involvement in the investigations of any other illegal activities where computers may have been used to record or store information. Dave will tell how their department is involved in the recovery of computer data that is thought to be lost or destroyed or otherwise deemed to be unrecoverable. He will also discuss how the department is involved in forensic laboratory work involving various types of electronic crime.

Mr. Ausdenmoore has been involved in training other officers in his areas of expertise for many years on a Federal, State and local level

The second presentation will be by TIM Rettig of LAN solutions. As of the time of publication we are not sure just what Tim’s exact topic he will be talking about. Tim has talked to us several times in the past on a variety of subjects. He is well versed on computer security and many other subjects dealing with your computer.

Some of his recent talks have been on such subjects as Domino Security and Firewall’s 101. If you are interested in the security of your computer, you will be interested in attending Tim’s presentation.
