Mission Statement
The Mission Statement of the Cincinnati PC
User Group is to educate members and others of the community about common business and
home uses for computers. The User Group strives to lead the community to find new
constructive uses for computers and their associated technologies.
Club Profile
To fulfill this mission the CPCUG provides:
- Educational programs in the form of public information sessions about
hardware, software and current issues
- Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to explore particular applications of
computers
- Participation in regional and national association events which support
this mission
- Services to members of the community, who, because of physical,
educational or cultural limitations, need individual assistance in acquiring and learning
to use appropriate computers
Information services through the publication of:
- A monthly newsletter
- Topical materials
- Training materials
- Training programs for novice through advanced computer users
- Technical support
- Volunteer member leadership committed to these ends.
